TH Wines


When we started selling wine in 2012 we had no tasting room, so we counted on restaurants for sales, and more importantly, for being our ambassadors to the public. It’s a debt that we haven’t forgotten, particularly on the Prairies where winemaker Tyler is from and where much of the winery support is centred.

Because we remain close to our restaurant friends, we've seen firsthand the devastation of their business. Local food systems are in a precarious place, and it's something we want to draw attention to. To do our part, we’d like to support Regina restaurant Homestead Bar a Vin’s Staff Meal Initiative donating one Staff Meal for every select sixpack that we sell.

We're sharing a special Cabernet Franc that we made last year with a great hospitality friend James Langford-Smith, the General Manager of internationally-acclaimed Vancouver restaurants Bao Bei and Kissa Tanto. Tyler first met James in the early years when James sold Tyler's wine while working for Chef Lisa Ahier at Sobo in Tofino. The two remained friends, and for this last vintage they decided to make a wine together, featuring the label design of Angela Morgan, Tyler’s sister. Only four barrels made.

This wine had originally been intended for James’ restaurants - which have been shut down - so we’re shifting the plan on this wine and using it to draw attention to causes that are dear to us. The sixpack includes 2 of the Tofino label Cabernet Franc 2019, 2 of the Roussanne 2019,  and 2 of the By Hand White 2019. The price is $175 all in, which includes shipping. Please share news of this offer.
